Introduction to Signed PPI

Signed protein-protein interaction network (Signed PPI) was developed at Harvard Medical School, in the lab of Norbert Perrimon and Drosophila RNAi Screening Center (DRSC). Signed PPI is a database of protein-protein interaction networks. The current version of the Signed PPI database contains Drosophila signed PPI network, i.e. PPI network with predicted edge-signs (activation/inhibition relationships). The resource includes both literature based signs (collected from SignaLink, KEGG and STKE databases) and predicted edge-signs. The purpose of the database is to help researchers to access, build and navigate signed protein-protein interaction networks by offering a simple and interactive web interface.
