Welcome to the Drosophila RNAi Screening Center (DRSC) at
Harvard Medical School. The DRSC allows researchers in the
Harvard community and beyond to perform genome-scale and
sub-library RNAi and related Drosophila cell-based
screens. Researchers from the U.S. and abroad have been
screening at the DRSC since 2003 and an impressive list of
publications has resulted from work performed here and
followed-up at the home institution.
Genome-Wide RNAi and other Libraries
The DRSC supports whole-genome screens on-site (4-8
weeks). In addition, we provide on-site visits for screen
optimization (2-3 weeks) support screening of the
specialized sub-libraries on- or off-site.
Several Assay Types Supported
The DRSC supports several assay types, including
fluorescent or luminescent quantitation; one- or two-color
in-cell westerns and cell-to-protein normalization; and
multi-channel, high-content confocal fluorescent
imaging.
Getting Started
