Stephanie joined the DRSC in January of 2008 with ten years of experience in molecular genetic analysis of Drosophila and three years of experience in high-throughput processes and community resources. Together with DRSC Principal Investigator Norbert Perrimon, Stephanie provides scientific oversight and sets priorities for all aspects of DRSC activities. Please feel free to contact Stephanie for confidential consultation on any aspect of a screening project, or with questions or comments on DRSC services, assay readouts, software tools, etc. In addition to her role as DRSC Director, Stephanie also serves as coordinator of the DF/HCC Collaborative RNAi Core.

Ian has been with the DRSC since its inception in 2003. He has experience in informatics in both biotech and academic settings and in 2010, completed a Master's degree in bioinformatics at Brandeis University. Ian wears many hats for the DRSC, including maintenance and updates to our FlyRNAi database, website and software tools, and support of image data management.

Quentin has been with the DRSC since 2007. His primary responsibility is oversight of automation at the DRSC for reagent production and assays. He is also our cell culture expert and manages shipping of cells, libraries and other biomaterials.

Claire joined the DRSC in June of 2010 after working for almost 10 years with the Harvard Institute of Proteomics (Laboratories of J. LaBaer and E. Harlow). She has extensive experience in bioinformatics support of research projects, including analysis of screen results. She developed the literature-mining tools MedGene and BioGene. She has published extensively in molecular, cellular and computational biology and proteomics. At the DRSC, Claire helps screeners to analyze screen results and develops new software tools.

Ben joined the DRSC in 2007 with experience in molecular biology and murine research models. Ben's primary responsibility is production, quality analysis and quality control of dsRNA and other reagent libraries. Ben also handles ordering for the DRSC and visiting researchers, and oversees lab safety compliance.
