Over-Expression Libraries

Libraries such as UAS-cDNA collections can be incorporated into cell-based screening assays, so that you can test the effect of ectopic expression either alongside or instead of taking an RNAi-based knockdown approach.

DRSC and modENCODE non-coding RNA Project The DRSC is actively building a collection of constructs for over-expression of newly identified non-coding RNAs for functional testing. Whenever possible, one or more corresponding dsRNA amplicon for RNAi knockdown is also produced and immediately added to our DRSC 2.0 genome-wide screening set. This work is being carried out in collaboration with the modENCODE project. Over-expression reagents are made available to on-site screeners and many can also be requested for off-site use.

UAS-miRNA Collection. Purified DNA or bacterial glycerol stocks for approximately 150 UAS-miRNAs. On-site screening or off-site use.
